Every reputable business should have a guarantee to back up the products they sell and the services they preform. We are confident that you will be pleased with both the initial quality of the work we do at Anderson’s, and its durability over time.

All manufacturer warranties are listed below (in alphabetical order).

Anderson’s Chimney Sweeps, Inc. appreciates the opportunity to serve you. We strive to go beyond standards and seek ways to better serve our customers and community. All material is guaranteed to be as specified and all work will be completed professionally and in accordance to NFPA and manufacturers warranties. Anderson’s Chimney and all of its employees are covered by workman’s compensation insurance.

Breckwell Pellet & Wood Products

Breckwell warrants to the original purchaser its products against premature failure of any component due to workmanship, quality, or materials as follows:

TIME PERIOD Firebox / Firepot: 3-Years, Heat Exchanger: 3-Years, Door: 3-Years, Cabinets and Trim: 1-Year, Gaskets: 1-Year, All Electrical Components (Blower, Auger / Agitator Motor, PC Board, Switches): 1-Year, Ceramic Glass / Agitator: 1-Year

CLAIM PROCEDURE Any defects should be reported to Breckwell or its dealer and/or distributor giving descriptions and pertinent data, including proof or purchase which will be returned upon request. Providing the heater has been installed and used in accordance with the Owners Manual supplied with the heater, Breckwell will either: 1) Replace the defective part free of charge 2) Replace the heater free of charge 3) Where the defect is of a cosmetic (non-functional) nature, Breckwell will bear reasonable expense to refurbish the heater, including such items as welding, painting, and incidental labor. A “Reasonable” is defined by terms of this warranty as $30.00/hour with full refund for any purchase of parts from U.S. Stove Company.

NOT COVERED Specifically, not covered under terms of this limited warranty or any other warranty are problems relating to smoking or creosote. Smoking is attributable to inadequate draft due to the design or installation of the flue system or installation of the heater itself. Creosote formation is largely attributable to improper operation of the unit and/or draft as mentioned above. Also, not covered are: 1) Removal and re-installation cost. 2) Service calls to diagnose trouble (unless authorized in writing by the manufacturer, distributor, or dealer). 3) Painted or plated surfaces. 4) Damage or defect caused by improper installation, accidents, misuse, abuse (including over-firing) or alteration. 5) Transportation or shipping costs.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS (1) Breckwell shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, or contingent damages anyone might suffer as a result of their breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty. (2) Should the heater be replaced by Breckwell “free of charge”, all further warranty obligations are thereby met. (3) Parts and/or service replacements made under the terms of this warranty are warranted only for the remaining period of the original heater warranty. 4) Without specific written exclusionary waivers, no one has authority to add to or vary this limited warranty, or to create for Breckwell any further obligation of liability in connection with this heater or any other applicable accessory. Any further warranty implication applicable to this heater or any applicable accessory is limited in duration to the same time period as the original statement in the above schedule.

YOUR DUTIES This heater, including all applicable accessories, must be installed and operated in accordance with local authorities having jurisdiction and the instructions furnished with the Owners Manual. You should keep as permanent record your proof of purchase (or canceled check or invoice).

PROBLEM/RESOLUTION As purchaser, you must first contact the dealer and/or distributor from whom you purchased your heater. If within a reasonable period of time you do not receive satisfactory service from the distributor and/or dealer, write or call Breckwell, Customer Service Department, including complete details of the problem and/or problems you are experiencing, details of your installation, your proof of purchase, and the heater serial number or test agency code number.

Class-A All-Fuel Chimney Pipe

VENTIS® Class-A All-Fuel Chimney Pipe is designed to vent residential heating oil, untreated wood, low sulphur coal and natural or LP gas.

LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE: Olympia Chimney Supply, Inc. (Olympia) warrants to you (the “purchaser”) that for the period set forth below, the VENTIS® Class-A All-Fuel Chimney pipe and components when used according to the specifications set forth in the warranty & installation instructions; and, if properly installed, maintained and used shall be free from defects in material or manufacturer’s workmanship. This warranty provides for the replacement of any system components damaged in a chimney fire or that fail as a result of normal use on a residential fireplace, wood burning stove, furnace or boiler. It does not provide a cash surrender value or reimbursement for expenses associated with labor of any kind that is required in the removal or replacement of the VENTIS® system replaced under this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused to the structure by chimney fires, misuse of the chimney system or any components or parts not manufactured by Olympia. Following a chimney fire, the system must be inspected by an experienced chimney professional before resuming use of the heating appliance.

COAL FUEL WARRANTY COVERAGE: Chimney system connected to a low sulphur coal appliance that uses a 304L stainless steel inner wall is covered 100% for 10 years, then 50% for subsequent years as set forth in this warranty. A chimney system connected to a low sulphur coal appliance that uses a 316L stainless steel inner wall is covered 100% for the life of the system as set forth in this warranty. All terms in the above “Limited Warranty Coverage” also apply.

WARRANTY PERIOD: The benefits of this warranty shall apply to you (the “purchaser”) Forever with no time limit, provided that you continue to own the home where the Ventis® Class-A All Fuel Chimney system is installed. In all events, even if you sell your home, Olympia will honor the warranty Forever with no time limit, which allows that new owner to benefit from the Ventis® Class-A All-Fuel Chimney system installation in your home.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS: You may register your VENTIS® Class-A All-Fuel Chimney System online at www.olympiachimney.com or by mailing your registration card to the address specified on the card within 60 days of having your system installed. The Ventis® warranty is subject to the following conditions: 1) installation of the pipe and components must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s written instructions; 2) the pipe is designed to operate at a continuous temperature of 650 degree Celsius (1,200 degree farenheit) or less; 3) this warranty only covers the use of low sulphur coal, all other types of coal are not covered under this warranty; 4) corn, driftwood, wood or wood pellets containing salt, preservative treated lumber, plastic, experimental fuels and household trash must not be burned in the appliance; 5) this warranty does not cover any products that have been moved from their original installation site; 6) the Ventis® chimney system must be cleaned and inspected on an annual basis by an experienced chimney professional commencing from the date of purchase. Receipts verifying that the annual maintenance was performed must be retained.

CLAIM PROCESS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: You may make a claim under this warranty by giving notice to your chimney professional and having your chimney professional provide information about the claim to Olympia. Upon approval of your claim, Olympia shall provide new Ventis® pipe and components to you as your exclusive remedy. Olympia does not assume any liability or responsibility for faulty installation of the pipe or components, or for defective materials not supplied as part of the Ventis® chimney system.

Neither Olympia nor the installer of the Ventis® chimney system shall be liable for any removal or installation charges or for any special, incidental, or consequential damages in any way related to the Ventis® pipe. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY COVERAGE: CeCure Chimney Systems, LLC (CeCure) warrants to you (the “Purchaser”) that for the period set forth below the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant, when used to restore an otherwise sound masonry chimney’s ability to contain and convey the products of combustion to the outside by repair of mortar joints between clay flue tiles and/or resurfacing of chimney interiors when used exclusively for residential natural draft appliances to be free from defects in material or manufacturer’s workmanship.

WARRANTY TERM: This warranty shall apply to you (the “Purchaser”) for your lifetime, when used to repair and seal defects in otherwise sound masonry chimneys that service UL listed residential solid-fuel-fired appliances, Category 1 residential gas fired (Natural or LP), and Type L vented oil-fired appliances, provided that you continue to own your home where the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant was originally installed. In all events, if you (the “Purchaser”) sell your home, (CeCure) will honor the warranty for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS: The HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant warranty is subject to the following conditions: 1) installation must be accomplished by a trained installer; 2) installation of the material must be done in accordance with manufacturer’s written installation instructions; 3) the repaired chimney flues must be cleaned (plastic flue brushes only) and inspected on an annual basis (i.e., at intervals of no more than 12 months each commencing from the date of purchase) by a Factory Trained HeatShield Dealer, (except for the first inspection which can be at an interval of no more than 18 months from the installation date), who must initial and date the appropriate section on the reverse side of this card upon completion of such yearly maintenance; 4) corrosive chimney cleaners must not be used; 5) driftwood, wood or wood pellets containing salt, preservative treated lumber, plastic, or household trash must not be burned in the appliance or fireplace connected to the chimney that has been repaired with the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant; 6) the chimney must have a chimney (rain) cap; 7) In the case of a chimney fire, the repaired flue must be inspected and approved by a nationally certified chimney sweep or other qualified chimney professional before reuse.

CLAIMS/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: You may make a claim under this warranty by giving notice to your HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant installer and having them provide information about your claim to CeCure. Upon approval of your claim, CeCure shall provide new material to you as your exclusive remedy. Neither CeCure nor the installer of the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant shall be liable for any removal or installation charges or for any special, incidental, or consequential damages in any way relating to, or arising out of, defects in, or damage to, the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant or the chimney flue to which the HeatShield Cerfractory Flue Sealant has been installed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

A warranty card will be left with each liner customer at the end of their installation. It is the customers responsibility to complete the card and mail it back to the manufacturer. A Maintenance Record is also included so that you can keep track of your annual inspections.

Masonry Repair & Restoration Work

At Anderson’s Chimney Sweep and Masonry Services, we take great pride in our work. To maintain our commitment to our customers and guarantee the excellent quality of our work, Anderson’s Chimney Sweep and Masonry Services offers the following masonry warranties:

WORKMANSHIP Anderson’s offers a 1 Year warranty on workmanship for all masonry work. Should a defect in workmanship arise during the warranty period, Anderson’s will perform repairs as appropriate to the problem area(s) at no cost to the client.

REPAIRS, REPOINTING and VENEERS Anderson’s offers a 1-year warranty on all repair work, as well as installations of brick and/or stone veneers over existing concrete bases and on repoint repairs. Hairline cracks are not covered under warranty. Color variations in concrete/mortar are standard; therefore, although we strive to achieve the best results possible, Anderson’s does not guarantee identical color, nor that concrete/mortar colors will always be the same. Water repellent must be completed to keep warranty valid.

BRICK, STONE and BLOCK Anderson’s offers a 5-year warranty on all properly-maintained new installations at no additional cost. Water repellent must be completed to keep warranty valid.

CONCRETE CROWN Our concrete crowns are the best in the business. We believe in them so much, we guarantee them for 100-years.

MORTAR CROWN WASH Our mortar crowns come with a 5-year warranty on all properly-maintained new crowns.

WARRANTY SPECIFICS Should a defect in workmanship arise during the warranty period, Anderson’s will perform repairs as appropriate to the problem area(s) at no cost to the client.

Normal wear and tear to materials is not covered under warranty. Items covered under warranty include broken, cracked, or deteriorated joints and loose or cracked stones or bricks, within reason. Anderson’s will relay loose brick or stone. For cracked mortar joints, Anderson’s will grind out and re-point the cracked joint.

The following are not covered under warranty: Deterioration of joints or masonry surfaces due to over-exposure from water, mold, fungus, and/or fire; Damage due to use of salt or any chemical to clear or remove ice or snow from the surface; Partial or complete collapsing of the structure from any act of god (including hurricane, lightening, tornado, flood, fire, earthquake, etc.); Cracking in masonry surfaces due to settling, shifting, abuse from new construction near location of our work; Damage resulting from collisions (human or mechanical); Damage due to improper use of structure (heavy machinery or large delivery trucks).

Warranty may be voided if client opts not to have full scope of repair estimate completed. The balance must be paid in full upon completion of the original scope of work as quoted.

CONDITIONS: Warranty protects against defect in manufacture or FPI factory assembled components only, unless herein specified otherwise.

Any part(s) found to be defective during the warranty period as outlined above will be repaired or replaced at FPI’s option through an accredited distributor, dealer or pre-approved and assigned agent provided that the defective part is returned to the distributor, dealer or agent for inspection if requested by FPI. Alternatively, FPI may at its own discretion fully discharge all of its obligations under the warranty by refunding the verified purchase price of the product to the original purchaser. The purchase price must be confirmed by the original Bill of Sale.

The authorized selling dealer, or an alternative authorized FPI dealer if pre-approved by FPI, is responsible for all in-field diagnosis and service work related to all warranty claims. FPI is not responsible for results or costs of workmanship of unauthorized FPI dealers or agents in the negligence of their service work.

At all times FPI reserves the right to inspect reported complaints on location in the field claimed to be defective prior to processing or authorizing of any claim. Failure to allow this upon request will void the warranty.

All warranty claims must be submitted by the dealer servicing the claim, including a copy of the Bill of Sale (proof of purchase by you). All claims must be complete and provide full details as requested by FPI to receive consideration for evaluation. Incomplete claims may be rejected.

Unit must be installed according to all manufacturers’ instructions as per the manual.

All Local and National required codes must be met.

The installer is responsible to ensure the unit is operating as designed at the time of installation.

The original purchaser is responsible for annual maintenance of the unit, as outlined in the owner’s manual. As outlined below, the warranty may be voided due to problems caused by lack of maintenance.

EXCLUSIONS: This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not extend to paint, rust or corrosion of any kind due to a lack of maintenance or improper venting, combustion air provision, corrosive chemicals (i.e. chlorine, salt, air, etc.), door or glass gasketing.

Malfunction, damage or performance based issues as a result of environmental conditions, location, chemical damages, downdrafts, installation error, installation by an unqualified installer, incorrect chimney components (including but not limited to cap size or type), operator error, abuse, misuse, use of improper fuels , lack of regular maintenance and upkeep, acts of God, weather related problems from hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, floods, lightning strikes/bolts or acts of terrorism or war, which result in malfunction of the appliance are not covered under the terms of this Limited Lifetime Warranty.

FPI has no obligation to enhance or modify any unit once manufactured (i.e. as products evolve, field modifications or upgrades will not be performed on existing appliances).

This warranty does not cover dealer travel costs for diagnostic or service work. All labor rates paid to authorized dealers are subsidized, pre-determined rates. Dealers may charge homeowner for travel and additional time beyond their subsidy.

Any unit showing signs of neglect or misuse will not be covered under the terms of this warranty policy and may void this warranty. This includes units with rusted or corroded fireboxes which have not been reported as rusted or corroded within three (3) months of installation/purchase.

Units which show evidence of being operated while damaged, or with problems known to the purchaser and causing further damages will void this warranty.

Units where the serial no. has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible will void this warranty.

Minor movement, expansion and contraction of the steel is normal and is not covered under the terms of this warranty.

Freight damages for products or parts are not covered under the terms of the warranty.

Products made or provided by other manufacturers and used in conjunction with the FPI appliance without prior authorization from FPI may void this warranty.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The original purchaser’s exclusive remedy, and FPI’s sole obligation under this warranty, express or implied, in contract or in tort, shall be limited to replacement, repair, or refund, as outlined above. In no event will FPI be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by defects in this product. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FPI MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO DURATION OF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY SPECIFIED ABOVE. IF IMPLIED WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, THEN SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Any recovery is limited to the original purchase price. No other person is authorized to modify this Limited Lifetime Warranty, and your seller is solely responsible for any other warranties.

Stainless Steel Chimney Liners

National Chimney, Inc. guarantees that the M-Flex chimney liners and components supplies by it are free from defects in material and Manufacturer’s workmanship, and from perforation caused by chimney fire or over-firing caused by you the purchaser, and corrosion.

Warranty Time Periods & Conditions

Lifetime warranty for wood, wood pellet, gas and oil burning installations. When used to vent UL listed residential wood burning stoves and fireplace, wood pellet stoves, Category 1 residential gas, oil burning heating systems, Category 1 gas and oil burning water heaters, gas fireplace or gas logs are guaranteed for the lifetime of the original M-Flex purchaser as long as said purchaser owns the home in which the M-Flex was originally installed. If the home is sold, this warranty shall transfer to the buyer. For M-Flex Lite, warranty will transfer for a period of 10 years from date of M-Flex installation.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATION: For commercial applications, the product is warrantied for 25 years.

The M-Flex warranty is subject to the following: (1) Installation of the liner and components in accordance with manufacturer’s written installation instructions (2) use of the liner and components only for the lining and relining of chimneys used to vent residential appliances for which the liner was intended; and (3) annual inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of liner, beginning one year after the date of installation and continuing at intervals of no more than twelve months from the date of installation, by a nationally certified chimney sweep, M-Flex installer or other qualified chimney professional, who must fill out the appropriate section of the M-Flex Maintenance Record.

The M-Flex warranty is further subject to compliance with the following requirements throughout the warranty period: (1) the chimney must have a chimney cap; (2) Corrosive chemical chimney cleaners must not be used; (3) Plastic bristle flue cleaning brushes are recommended; (4) Driftwood, wood or wood pellets containing salt, preservative treated lumber, plastic or household trash must not be burned in the appliance, or fireplace connected to the liner. In the case of a chimney fire, the liner must be inspected by a nationally certified chimney sweep, M-Flex installer or another qualified chimney professional before reuse.

CLAIMS/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Should you need to make a claim under the conditions of this warranty, contact your M-Flex installer to provide N.C. with information about the claim. Should N.C. require factory inspection of the defective parts N.C. will pay for the shipping of the material, to be inspected, to our factory for inspection. If the material is deemed defective by N.C., replacement of the defective material with new material and shipping of the replacement material will be paid for by N.C., and will be considered your exclusive remedy under this warranty. Neither National Chimney nor the installer of the M-Flex Liner shall be liable for any costs for removal of reinstallation of the liner or any liability for special, consequential, or incidental damages in any way related to, or arising out of, defects in, or damage to, the M-Flex Liner. This warranty gives you the specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state concerning excluding or limitations of incidental or consequential damages.

We cannot stress enough the importance of at least one yearly inspection of your entire heating system. There are many variables that can upset the proper operation of such systems. When installed and maintained properly you will obtain many years of satisfactory service from this product. This service card will be required in order to initiate a warranty claim. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOMEOWNER TO MAINTAIN THE SERVICE RECORD.
