It is the mission of the National Chimney Sweep Guild to promote the success of its members by providing progressive
services, encouraging professionalism and ethical accountability, and advancing the chimney and venting industry through public
awareness of the trade.
• Hearth, Patio, Barbeque Association
The National Fireplace Institute® is the professional certification division of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue
Education Foundation (HPBEF), a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization for the hearth industry.
NFI's objective
is to increase public safety by establishing meaningful credentials for professionals involved in planning and installing
residential hearth appliances and venting systems.

• Pennsylvania Guild of Professional Chimney Sweeps - To safeguard the life, health, property and welfare of the public by establishing and maintaining very high standards
of integrity, ethics, skills, equipment and practice in the profession of chimney sweeping.
- To promote fire safety
though a continuing program of public information designed to inform and educate them to reduce the fire hazards and threat
of loss of life, associated with the improper installation, maintenance and general operation of wood, coal, gas, oil and
pellet burning appliances.
- To further enlighten the general public about solid fuel burning
- To act upon
any other measures considered appropriate or necessary by the Board of Directors pursuant to the Corporation’s Article
of Incorporation.

• National Fire Protection AssociationThe mission of the international nonprofit NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on
the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. NFPA membership
totals more than 81,000 individuals from around the world and more than 80 national trade and professional organizations
• Greater Harrisburg Oil Heat Association - promote the advantages of Oil heat to the consumer

Our members strive to be the best professional chimney technicians possible in servicing our customer's chimney
and venting needs. The Massachusetts Chimney Sweep Guild accomplishes this challenge by requiring its members to be CSIA Certified,
to obtain continuing education in the latest technical and safety advancements. We adhere to a code of ethics established
and updated by the Massachusetts Chimney Sweep Guild. We promote and establish good customer relations through honesty, integrity,
and commitment to public education in the proper use and maintenance or our customer's chimney and venting systems.

The Certified Chimney Sweep credential is the hallmark of excellence among chimney service professionals. Related
industry leaders – and knowledgeable homeowners – understand the quality and value this credential represents.
Those who have earned the CSIA credential have demonstrated their commitment to the industry, to fire prevention,
and to their customers.
